When looking at how to fix a dry and itchy scalp, it’s important that you know what your condition is caused by. For most people, dry and itchy scalps are a result of being too dry – this usually happens during the dry winter months or from using products that are too drying and dehydrating.

Fix a Dry and Itchy Scalp

One of the easiest and most effective ways to treat a dry and itchy scalp is to use products that contain silicone oil or panthenol. Not only does silicone oil to hydrate and balance your hair and scalp, but it also functions as a protectant against cold, harsh winter air. Panthenol, on the other hand, keeps your hair and scalp well-hydrated by binding moisture to your locks.
